Job Satisfaction Plummets After being attacked by policymakers across the country and blamed for all the problems in our nation's education system, it's not surprising that fewer teachers are happy in their chosen profession. According to the annual MetLife Survey of the American Teacher, there was a 15 point drop in teacher job satisfaction from 59 percent in 2009 to just 44 percent in 2011. Read more> |
