KIDS COUNT 2014 Data Book

In the 25 years since the start of the Annie E. Cassie Foundation's KIDS COUNT project, America has made only "fragile progress" in improving the well-being of our nation's children. The annual report ranks states according to metrics in economic well-being, education, health, and family and community. In 2014, Massachusetts, Vermont and Iowa ranked at the top, and Nevada, New Mexico and Mississippi ranked at the bottom. Read more>
